Timber trusses are used to span distances that would be impractical for a single timber. Traditionally the simplest form of a truss is a triangle, but in modern construction these can be used for decorative purposes as well as structural and have become more elaborate in their construction.

Timber Trusses vary widely and can include designs with diagonal struts, curved or raised bottom chords. Styles of trusses include:

  •  King Post Truss
  •  Queen Post Truss
  •  Bridge Truss
  •  Scissors Truss

Timber Trusses are available in a variety of species of timber including:

  • Eastern White Pine
  • Douglas Fir
  • Western Red cedar
